How to use your
Doctor Pen M8
Follow these recommendations to achieve safe, effective results — and get the most out of every session.
Recommended depth by facial zone — Speed 6
- Cleanse your face thoroughly
- Disinfect the pen body and cartridge with isopropyl alcohol
- Disinfect the skin with a suitable antiseptic
- Avoid retinol and acids 48h before the session
- Do not treat active or inflamed acne — wait until fully healed
- You may apply a topical numbing cream (EMLA) 30 min before for deeper sessions
- First time: max 0.5 mm on all zones
- Work zone by zone — do not mix zones in a single pass
- Use light, even movements — do not press hard
- Horizontal, vertical, then diagonal passes for each zone
- Apply a microneedling-specific serum ampoule as you go for optimal absorption
- Each zone: 3–4 passes, 5–10 minutes total per session
- No makeup for 24h after the session
- Use a clean pillowcase the same evening
- Hydrate heavily: La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5 or AESTURA Atobarrier barrier cream
- No actives (acids, retinol) for 3 days
- LED mask sessions (red light) are beneficial in recovery
- Apply SPF 50 daily starting the day after
- No sun, sport, sauna or pool for 24–48h after
- Do not touch your face with unclean hands after the session
- Never share cartridges — single use only
- Do not treat skin with active infections or open wounds
- Wait 4 weeks between sessions to allow full skin regeneration
